It features the same cute little raccoon, but this time the problem he is facing is a new addition to the family--a baby brother! When Chester sees his mother give his baby brother a Kissing Hand--his Kissing Hand—he is overcome with sadness, but Mrs. Raccoon soothes his fears with her own special brand of wisdom, finding just the right way to let Chester know he is deeply loved.

This book is perfect for families who are adjusting to all the changes new members can bring.  And, even though it doesn't have much to do with school, we always read it to our classes because having previously read aloud The Kissing Hand, the kids are interested to know what's next for the cute little Chester the raccoon.
