What Does the X-Ray Say?
Written and illustrated by the Second Grade Students  of Longfellow Elementary in West Allis, Wisconsin

X-rays reveal some interesting sights - especially from a child's point of view! This book has different stories about people and animals needing x-rays, and the stories are very interesting and sometimes funny! The pages are in black and white, like x-rays are, which is very effective, and the narratives are in simple rhyme. The Kids Are Authors Competition was established in 1986 to encourage children to read and to become involved in the creative process of writing.
